# Invite your team and set roles

> The team is included from the Business plan, with one collaborator for each brand you pay for. Open Settings, press "Manage roles & access" and then "Invite member". Owners have full access, including billing and team. Each collaborator gets a permission level for each brand: Viewer, Contributor, Scheduler, Publisher, Brand manager, Community manager or Custom. Only an owner can promote or demote people.

## Owners and collaborators

- **Owner**: the person who created the account, and anyone later promoted to owner. Full access to every brand, billing, plan and team.
- **Collaborator**: a member of your team. Sees only the brands you give them, with the permissions you choose for each brand.

## How many people you can invite

## Invite a teammate

1. Open **Settings** and, in **Collaborators and guest clients**, press **Manage roles & access**.
2. Press **Invite member** and enter their email.
3. Choose the brands they can access and the permission level for each.
4. They receive an invitation by email and join your account.

You can also ask the [AI Chat](https://bynor.ai/guide/ai-chat.html) to invite someone: it prepares the invitation and sends it when you confirm.

## Permission levels

The levels form a ladder: each one can do everything the level before can, plus something more.

| Level | What it can do |
|---|---|
| Viewer | Sees everything, changes nothing |
| Contributor | Prepares content and plans |
| Scheduler | Fills the calendar, never goes live |
| Publisher | Goes live and takes posts down |
| Brand manager | Publishes, configures the brand and replies in the Inbox |

Two more options sit outside the ladder:

- **Community manager**: replies to messages, does not publish.
- **Custom**: you pick the permissions one by one.

Exporting reports is not a level: you grant it separately, brand by brand, with its own switch. Levels are set brand by brand: the same person can be Publisher on one brand and Viewer on another.

## Who can change roles

Only an **owner** can promote or demote people. **Promote to owner** gives full access to all brands, billing and team management, and you cannot take it back on your own. A collaborator who can invite others can never give more permissions than they have.

## Frequently asked questions

### Do I pay extra for each team member?

No. Bynor plans are priced per brand, not per user: Business includes one collaborator for each brand. See [Plans and pricing](https://bynor.ai/guide/plans-and-pricing.html).

### Can a collaborator see billing?

Not by default. An owner can grant a collaborator the permission to view or manage billing and to buy credits.
