Client portal: share plans and get approvals
How agencies invite clients to the Bynor client portal, what the client sees (overview, editorial plans, upcoming posts, reports), how approvals work and which plan includes it.
The client portal gives your clients read-only access to their brands with a single link: overview, editorial plans, upcoming posts and reports. The client approves or declines each content card, and you see the answers in Approvals. Invite a client from Settings, Manage roles & access, with "Invite client". The portal is included from the Business plan, and the free trial lets you try it with one client.
What the client sees
With one link the client sees the brands you share with them, in read-only mode:
- Overview: how the accounts are doing.
- Editorial plans: the plans you shared, card by card.
- Upcoming posts: what is scheduled.
- Reports: the reports you send to the portal.
Invite a client
- Open Settings and, in Collaborators and guest clients, press Manage roles & access.
- Press Invite client.
- Choose the brands to share. You can add a password and an expiry date to the link.
- Send the link to your client.
Under What the client sees you choose what to show, and with automatic sending new content reaches the portal without extra steps.
Approvals
- In an editorial plan press Share with the client.
- The client opens each card and approves or declines it.
- You find the answers in More, then Approvals. If you change a card, you can send it back to the client for a new review.
No more approval threads in email or chat: decisions stay attached to the content.
Plans and limits
- The client portal is included from the Business plan. The free trial includes it with one guest client; on Starter the portal is paused.
- Portal branding (your logo, up to 2 MB) is included from Business.
- On Business you can have up to 5 guest clients for each active brand, counted on the whole account: with 3 brands, up to 15 people. A person invited to several brands counts once.
