Inbox: reply to comments and direct messages
How the Bynor Inbox gathers comments and direct messages from Instagram, Facebook and YouTube in one queue, how to filter them, reply to comments with an AI suggestion in the brand's tone, and mark them as handled.
The Inbox collects comments from Instagram, Facebook and YouTube and direct messages from Instagram and Facebook in a single queue per brand. Each comment gets a label (Lead, Support, Complaint, Positive, Collab, Noise) so you see what matters first. Open a comment, press "Suggest reply" to get a draft in the brand's tone, adjust it and send it without leaving Bynor. Direct messages are answered by hand.
What arrives in the Inbox
| Network | Comments | Direct messages |
|---|---|---|
| Yes | Yes | |
| Yes | Yes (Page messages) | |
| YouTube | Yes | Not available on YouTube |
New Instagram and Facebook comments arrive in near real time; Bynor also syncs all channels several times a day. TikTok and LinkedIn comments are not in the Inbox today.
Open the Inbox
- Open Inbox in the sidebar.
- Choose the brand from the selector at the top: each brand has its own queue.
- Switch between Comments and DMs.
Filter and prioritize
- Channel: all, or one network.
- Label: Bynor's AI classifies every comment as Lead, Support, Complaint, Positive, Collab or Noise. Direct messages are not classified.
- Type: comments or direct messages.
A good habit: filter by Lead and Complaint first, they are the comments worth answering quickly.
Reply with the AI suggestion
- Click a comment to open the full thread, including replies to replies.
- Press Suggest reply: Bynor drafts an answer using the brand context, so it sounds like you.
- Edit the draft, then press Send (the arrow). To answer a specific reply in the thread, press Reply under it first.
The suggestion is a starting point: add a personal touch before sending. The AI suggestion is available for comments; direct messages you write yourself and send with Send. If too much time has passed since the person's last message, the network no longer accepts a reply and Bynor shows Reply window expired. Replying requires an active subscription and the permission to reply in your team role.
Mark what you handled
- On a single conversation, use Mark as replied (or Mark as unreplied to put it back in the queue).
- With Mark all you can mark every message of the brand as read or as replied, or only those older than 30 days.
Marking changes nothing on the social network.
The AI Chat and your community
The AI Chat reads your comments too. It can propose replies as cards to confirm, tell you the overall mood of recent comments, and suggest a post when at least three different people ask for the same thing in public comments (direct messages are never used for this).
