Troubleshooting
Solutions to the most common Bynor problems: Instagram not connecting, connection expired, a post that did not go out or may have gone out twice, TikTok privacy, YouTube photos, credits finished, trial not starting.
Most problems come from the connection to a social network. If Instagram does not connect, check that it is a professional account; if a post did not go out, look for "Connection expired" and press Reconnect; if Bynor says the outcome is uncertain, check the profile before publishing again. For anything else write to [email protected].
Instagram does not connect
- "Non-professional Instagram account": Instagram allows tools like Bynor only on professional accounts. Switch to a Business or Creator account in the Instagram app settings (it is free) and connect again.
- Connecting through Facebook, Instagram does not appear: the Instagram account must be linked to the Facebook Page you selected. Or connect Instagram directly, without Facebook.
- On the phone nothing happens after authorizing: on some phones the link opens inside the Instagram app and the connection stops. Connect from a computer; Bynor can email you a link to finish there.
- "Connection not available right now": each brand can connect each network once a month. Bynor shows the date from which you can connect again; if you need it sooner, write to us.
YouTube does not connect
The Google account you used has no YouTube channel, or you picked another one. Create the channel, or sign in again and choose the Google account that owns it.
A scheduled post did not go out
- Open the post in the Calendar: it shows as failed, with the reason. Bynor also notifies you and sends an email when a publication fails.
- If the account shows Connection expired (the Dashboard lists it under To do), open Brand, press Reconnect and authorize again.
- Back in the Calendar, press Retry (Retry failed on a post sent to several networks) or reschedule the post: a post whose time passed while the connection was expired does not go out by itself.
Bynor says "the post may already be online"
The network did not confirm whether the post was published. Check the profile first. If the post is there, do nothing; if it is not, publish it again. Publishing again without checking can create a duplicate.
Publishing on Instagram is blocked by Meta
If Meta restricts publishing on an Instagram account connected through Facebook, the account shows a warning: press Switch to direct Instagram to resume publishing.
Errors specific to a network
| Message or problem | What to do |
|---|---|
| TikTok asks for the privacy level | Choose who can see the video in the preview: it is required for every TikTok post |
| YouTube refuses a photo or a horizontal video | On YouTube Bynor publishes only Shorts: vertical videos up to 3 minutes |
| Instagram video upload failed | Use H.264/AAC video and check the size limits in Formats and limits |
| LinkedIn says the post is a duplicate | LinkedIn refuses a post identical to one recently published on the same profile or page: the original is already online. Change the text to publish again |
| Caption too long | Shorten it to the network's limit (2,200 characters on Instagram) |
Out of credits
Image generation stops until the next monthly renewal, or until you buy a pack in AI Credits. During the free trial credits do not renew and packs are not available: choose a plan, or the Images only subscription, to get more. Everything else keeps working. See AI credits.
The free trial does not start
Each email can use the free trial once, and Bynor also limits repeated trials from the same phone number or network. If you think it is a mistake, write to [email protected].
The account is read-only
The trial or the subscription has ended. Choose a plan from Plans & Pricing: your data is all there. See Plans and pricing.
Still stuck?
Write to [email protected] with the brand name and what you see on screen (a screenshot helps). You can also ask the AI Chat: it knows the app and your brand.
