Getting started
Set up your first brand
The two setup steps in Bynor (create a brand, connect the first social account), what the initial analysis does and how long you need to wait.
Setup has two steps. In "Create a brand" you enter the brand name, the time zone used for publishing and the language and market of your content. In "Connect your first social account" you link a profile and, if you want, your website, then press "Start analysis". Bynor reads your recent content and builds the brand context the AI will use; you can close the page while it works.
What a brand is
A brand is the identity you manage in Bynor: its connected social accounts, its brand context (voice, audience, strategy) and its content. Everything in the app (posts, analytics, inbox) refers to the brand selected at the top. If you manage several businesses or clients, create one brand for each. See Manage multiple brands.
Step 1 of 2: Create a brand
Fill in:
- Brand name: for example the company or the creator's name.
- Publishing time zone: scheduled posts go out at this time zone's clock.
- Language and market of your content: Bynor shows them as "Content in (language) · (market)"; press Change if they are not right. It is the language the AI writes in and the market it has in mind.
Press Continue.
Step 2 of 2: Connect your first social account
- Choose the network: Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube or LinkedIn. The detailed steps for each are in Connect your social accounts.
- Optionally add your website: it gives the AI more context about what you sell.
- Press Start analysis.
Connecting the first social account is also the moment your 7-day free trial starts.
If you are on a phone and the network's app interrupts the connection, use connect from another device: Bynor gives you a one-time link to finish from a computer.
What the analysis does
The progress screen shows four phases: Connection, Content, Metrics and Identity. Bynor imports your recent posts and their metrics, reads the content of the last 12 months (texts, formats, topics, what performed best) and writes the brand context: voice, audience, strategy, patterns that work. From TikTok Bynor imports metrics but not the content of the videos, so a brand connected only to TikTok does not get a brand context from it; from YouTube it reads Shorts.
You do not have to wait on the page: close it and Bynor emails you when the analysis is ready. The time depends on how much content the account has.
After setup
- Read and adjust the brand context: Brand context and voice.
- Connect the other networks of the same brand from the Brand page.
- Ask the AI Chat for your first plan: "Create an editorial plan for this week".
